Life on the ranch is filled with things most people don’t even think about.

Be aware of your surroundings, holes in the ground, animal Poop, wires, nails, fire/red ant hills, whatever creature is attached to the eyes you see off in the dark, the all too familiar “Rattling” noise, car/truck [...]
The best part about being in the middle of nowhere, with no TV is I haven’t heard anything about Obama in almost a week.
Now that I think about it, my sleep is better too.
Guess I’ll knock off early some day this week and see how the rest of the country is doing. Probably not…

Despite the container, three cars and the flat bed trailer still loaded in the yard, we are moved out.

For the last week Nik’s Sister, Brother in-law and their two boys have been in town (Enjoying the heat wave). There was BBQs at the ranch, time with the animals and sight seeing. We even got in some shooting.
